Butterfly - a powerful symbol of transformation

Did you know that the butterfly is a powerful symbol for transformation?
In some cultures, the butterfly is seen as the personification of a person's soul whether living, dying or already dead while in others, butterflies symbolize rebirth into a new life after being inside a cocoon for a period of time. Some say that when a butterfly lands on you, it means good luck.
My transformation has been and still is amazing. I have been on a fantastic journey over the past few months; without a passport, and have managed to visit many awesome places; all on the net or through reading books. Of course the inter-net is a wonderful tool for travelling in the comfort of your own home, but the journey I have been on was deep inside my own being. I have become more aware of my emotions and feel that a huge burden of guilt has been taken off me. Don't ask me why I carried this guilt but it was there and has taken me most of my 43 years to understand it.
